Dryer Sheets?... Nah, Dryer Balls!
I found these while grocery shopping last week. I rarely even go down the cleaning supply aisle at the grocery store, because it's more expensive than going to Target. But, these were $7.99 and it seemed like a good deal, rather than buying dryer sheets. These balls go into the dryer with the clothes and allows air to pass through them. I've done 3 loads of laundry with them and so far, so good. I would recommend them!

How do they work with reducing static. That's the main reason I use dryer sheets.
But I found them super cheap at the store today, so I figure I'd try it out too (it was a different brand, but the same kind of stuff).
I am loving them. I think because the balls are turning with the clothes, it keeps them from sticking together and lets air through, therefore no static. I've not had a static problem yet! and I even washed a couple of fleece blankets.
I just started using mine today, but I'm still not sure about it. Anyway, I just found a tutorial to make your own dryer balls. This one is very green (and possibly cheaper too):

Let me try that link again (I still don't know why blogger can't automatically put the links in)

Hmmm do you use them the diapes? Right now I use vinegar for my softener.
